Tips for Damaged Hair


Hair is the crowning glory of a person. That is why we need to take care of it everyday. When our hair is damaged it looks dull, brittle, curly and flying away. But what are the common causes of damaged hair? Some causes of damaged hair are hair dyeing, poor diet or heat from dryers and pollution of the environment. But you can restore the luster, strength and quality of your hair by following some of the simple tips.

1. Combine one egg yolk with two tablespoon olive oil in a bowl. Apply it to hair especially on the ends. Leave for few minutes and rinse before applying shampoo. It can be done once a week for about a month to help restore the damaged hair.

2. If you have vitamin E capsules at home, then open six capsules and combine it to your shampoo, because vitamin E helps hair look healthy, shiny and smooth.

3. It is advisable to have regular hair trims once a month. This is to get rid of damaged and split ends and it also encouraged hair growth.

4. Try to use the lowest heat setting when blow drying your hair.

5. Ideally, you need to shampoo your hair 2-3 times a week to prevent from drying.

6. Rinse and shampoo your hair immediately after swimming from salt water or in a chlorinated pool because prolong stay of the water into your hair can cause it to brittle.
