The Importance of Color Matching To Fashion

Color matching affects greatly to your personality. It is one way of expressing yourself in fashion. That is why it is important to know how to match and combine colors to your taste and complexion. Consider the following tips.
1. Match colors to your skin tone. Basically there are two groups of colors: cool and warm. Try to check your veins whether your color is cool or warm. If your veins are more bluish then you’re cool. If your veins are greenish, then you’re warm. By matching your skin tone to your designated colors, your look will be accentuated and your wardrobe will be more flattering.
2. Try to use monochromatic colors- these are different shades of a single color or hue. A simple example is matching a light blue with a dark blue.
3. Use opposite colors to look attractive.
4. Apply a more harmonious look with closely related colors. These colors are also considered to be neighbors on the color. Examples for these are purple with blue, gold, orange with yellow and etc.
