Secrets of Happy People

The earth is revolving so fast that in just a wink of our eyes we can see the many changes of our environment- fashion styles, cultures, foods, technologies and etc. The question is are we still safe and are we still staying healthy?. For the fact that almost everything can be reach instantly. Body enhancement, taking drugs in order to be slim and some find it hard going to the gym for work out. It seems that there is no contentment in everything that is already have. Are they happy with their life? Below are some of the tips on how to stay happy and healthy without spending too much.

Drink 8 glasses of water a day.
This is to replace water used and lost daily. The body will not function properly without enough water and can't metabolize stored fat efficiently. And when water is retained, it shows up as excess weight. To get rid of excess water you must drink more water. Water also controls the body's temperature, softens the skin, cushions and lubricates the joints.

Run 3 times a week.
Running is a rigorous cardiovascular exercise that allows you to burn an average of 100 calories per mile you run. It helps lower blood pressure by maintaining the elasticity of the arteries. As you run, your arteries expand and contract more than usual, keeping the arteries elastic and the blood pressure low. Running also helps maximize the lungs' potential, as it keeps them strong and powerful. It also strengthens the heart and helps prevent heart attacks. The large muscle exercise it provides helps keep the cardio system efficient and strong.


Sleep 8 hours a day.
Enough sleep is necessary for our muscles to grow and our nervous systems to work properly. Too little sleep leaves us feeling bloated, drowsy and unable to concentrate the next day. It also causes impaired memory and physical performance and reduced ability to carry out math calculations. Without enough sleep, we may develop hallucinations and mood swings.


Laugh as often as you can.
Laughter is one of the best muscle relaxants. Laughter expands blood vessels and sends more blood rising to the extremities and other muscles all over the body. A good bout of laughter also reduces the levels of stress hormones epinephrine and cortisol.
