International Women’s Day is a global celebration held every 8th day of March. It has been observed since in the early 1900’s. Different events are held the whole month of March to give recognition of the social, political, and economic achievements and roles of women in the community. Today, we celebrated the 100th anniversary with the theme: : “Equal Access to Education, Training, and Science and Technology: Pathway to Decent Work for Women”.
